Cheapest prop firms for 2026

Backtoast is first, because $99 buys two tests and then stops, and a pass pays you from profit on real trading. The lower prices below are fees for a simulated account, and several of them bill again if you fail or haven't passed yet.

1Backtoast

You pay $99 for two full tests of your own strategy, and a pass is an offer of 30% of the profit Backtoast makes trading it with its own money. The fee does not renew next month.

2FundingPips

FundingPips has the lowest one-time price we could find, $55 for a $10K 2-step Pro account, and the site was also advertising 20% off with a code. The fee is not refunded. A reset within 7 days of a breach is discounted, and every reset starts you over at phase 1. FundingPips publishes no pass rate.

3E8 Markets

E8 Pro lists at $59 for $10K on the site's default settings, and the firm does not refund that fee with your first payout. You can pass in as little as a day on the E8 One default. The published pass rate, 17.7%, covers 1 January 2023 to 1 March 2024, which is an older window than the other firms here.

4The5ers

Pro Growth is $98 for $10K, one time, and the plan tops out at $50K for $329. High Stakes starts the split at 80% and raises it as the account scales. No pass rate is published.

5Topstep

A 50K futures evaluation is $49 a month, which is less than $99 in the first month, and the charge continues until you pass or cancel. The standard path then adds $149 to open the Express Funded Account. In 2025, 0.71% of Express Funded traders were called up to a live account.

6FTMO

The $10K 1-step lists at €79, and that fee is not refunded. The $10K 2-step is €89, and that fee comes back with the first reward. FTMO's terms say the accounts are simulated and that no actual trading takes place.
