E8 Markets is the forex firm in this set with a pass rate on its own site, 17.7% from January 2023 to March 2024. The current accounts are single-phase, the fee does not come back with the first payout, and the funded account is a simulator. Backtoast is first if you want a pass to pay you from real trading.

1Backtoast

You pay $99 for two full tests of your own strategy, and a pass is an offer of 30% of the profit Backtoast makes trading it with its own money.

2E8 Markets

You can pass the default E8 One in a day. The help center and the checkout do not always show the same target and the same daily loss, because both are configurable. The published pass rate stops at 1 March 2024. E8 says every account is a demo running on real market data, and it doesn't offer a move to a live account.

FTMO returns the 2-step fee with the first reward, which E8 doesn't.

Rules

On the site's default $100K E8 One, the target is $9,000, the daily drawdown is $4,000 and the overall drawdown is $6,000. The daily drawdown is measured from your balance at midnight server time, and you breach if equity touches it, so a losing trade you haven't closed counts. The overall drawdown is dynamic, which means it rises when you close a profit but not when open profit grows, and it stops rising at the starting balance. Once you're funded, E8 One adds a 40% best-day rule, so no single day can be more than 40% of your profit, and news is blocked from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact releases, while the challenge has no news limit. You can hold trades overnight and over the weekend, and an EA is allowed as long as other people aren't running the same trades.

Payouts

E8 One lets you choose an 80%, 90% or 100% split at checkout, and the listed prices are for 80%. The earliest first payout is 3 days into the funded stage because of the best-day rule. E8 says it has paid out more than $79 million, and that the median time to approve a payout was 11 hours from January to May 2026. If you fail, a retry within 7 days is 10% off.
