Backtoast is first, because a pass pays you from profit on real trading, and every prop firm on this list pays from a simulated account. A live account at those firms is a later invitation, not the account you pass into.

1Backtoast

You pay $99 for two full tests of your own strategy, and a pass is an offer of 30% of the profit Backtoast makes trading it with its own money. You can still trade the strategy yourself, and there's no simulated account in between.

2MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures publishes the highest move from a simulated funded account to a live one, 4.2% of those traders, and it doesn't say over what period. A 50K Rapid account lists at $209 with no activation fee on purchases from 25 August 2026, and the funded Rapid account tightens the max loss from end-of-day to an intraday trail.

3Topstep

Topstep is the cheapest futures start, at $49 a month for a 50K evaluation until you pass or cancel, and it published a full 2025 year. 16.8% of evaluations were completed and 0.71% of Express Funded traders were called up to a live account. The Express account is a simulator, with a 90/10 split.

4FTMO

FTMO is the forex name people already know, and its own terms say the accounts are demo accounts with fictitious funds and that no actual trading takes place. A $100K 2-step lists at €540, the fee comes back with the first reward, and the default split is 80%. FTMO publishes no pass rate. A live account is described only on its futures product, by invitation.

5Take Profit Trader

The test has no time limit and the subscription cancels when you pass. In 2025, 36.22% of tests passed, up from 16.86% in 2024. The funded PRO account is a simulator, the max loss switches to an intraday trail after you pass, and the live PRO+ account is an invitation with no published rate. The PRO split is 80/20.

6The5ers

The5ers sells a one-time fee, and Pro Growth starts at $98 for a $10K account, with the largest size on that plan at $50K for $329. High Stakes pays 80% at first and can scale the split higher as the account grows. The5ers publishes no pass rate, and the funded account is a simulator.
