Lucid Trading
Lucid charges once, with no monthly fee and no activation fee, and after a fifth payout you can take cash instead of waiting on a live review. The funded account is a simulator, and Lucid publishes no pass rate. Backtoast is first if you want a pass to pay you from real trading.
| You pay | Paid from | Pass rate | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1Backtoast | $99 for two tests | Real trading | A pass is the offer |
| 2Lucid | Not shown | Simulator | Not published |
1Backtoast
You pay $99 for two full tests of your own strategy, and a pass is an offer of 30% of the profit Backtoast makes trading it with its own money.
2Lucid
After the fifth payout on a Flex, Pro or Direct account you can be reviewed for a live account, or you can take cash at half the live starting balance, and the move is still up to Lucid's risk team. The firm says traders have earned more than $700 million. The live site blocked automated reading, so this is from saved copies and the help center.
On Take Profit Trader, PRO withdrawals start on the first day once the balance passes a buffer.
Rules
A 50K LucidFlex evaluation asks for $3,000 with a $2,000 maximum loss and up to 4 minis, and you can take as long as you need. The maximum loss trails your highest closing balance and locks at $50,100 once your balance passes $52,100, and the help pages don't say whether an open loss during the day can close the account. The consistency rule is 40%, or 50% as a paid add-on, so you can pass in 3 days, or 2 with the add-on, and you choose at checkout whether to have a daily loss limit. Bots and trade copiers are allowed, and news trading is allowed on Flex, Pro and Direct but is a hard breach on LucidDaily. Hedging is banned even across other firms, and you get flagged if more than half your profit comes from trades held 5 seconds or less. Open positions are closed for you at 4:45 PM ET, and that doesn't fail the account.
Payouts
LucidFlex pays 90/10 with no buffer, and each payout needs 5 days of at least $150 profit on a 50K and a positive cycle. You can take half your profit up to $2,000 a payout, with a $500 minimum. LucidPro also pays 90/10, but it holds back a buffer of the maximum loss plus $100, no day can be more than 40% of the cycle's profit, and a 50K's first payout is capped at $2,000 and later ones at $2,500. A live account starts at $0 with an end-of-day drawdown, no daily limit, daily payouts and a 90/10 split, and when you go live all your sim accounts close and no one else in your household can trade sim.
Lucid's main site still blocked automated reading on 31 October 2026. Figures are from a saved copy of the homepage and the help center, checked 31 October 2026.
